Roast Duck Breast with Shaved Black Truffles
Some time ago I received a copy of Patricia Wells "Simply Truffles" cookbook to do a review on. I kind of laughed when I received it thinking there was never going to be a time when I would have a chance to make anything from it. I honestly didn't even read through it like I usually do with a new cookbook because I didn't want to get excited about anything.

Emeril's One-Pot Blogger Party: Baked Eggs with Corned Beef Hash
We are definitely a breakfast for dinner kind of family. Of course, we have our Pancake Wednesday tradition but there are often multiple nights a week that we'll have scrambled eggs or other breakfast related dishes for our family dinner. For my next Emeril dish I actually let a friend flip through the book and choose a recipe that he thought I should make. He ended up choosing the Baked Eggs and Corned Beef Hash, and I have to admit I was a little disappointed at first. It just seemed too simple. Could it really be that good?
